Our work—and this is one of the reasons we love what we do—requires us to keep current.
In the course of doing our job, we see a lot of online content that social sites enable us to comment on and share. If you can overlook the ragtag look of this page, you may find value, too, in:
- The content we come across daily and comment on via our Twitter account. Note the feed of our last three tweets in the right-hand column of this site. You could follow the Rock The Boat Marketing account (@RockTheBoatMKTG) on Twitter or follow the account via RSS.
- The content we bookmark to be shared using our Diigo account. Our latest Diigo bookmarks are displaying below. Note that you could also add an RSS feed of this account to your feed reader.
- Presentations we tag as Rock The Boat Marketing favorites on SlideShare
- Videos we add to the Rock The Boat Marketing YouTube channel playlists. Note that we show our Social Media playlist below, you'll see other playlists on the channel page. You might also be interested in our subscriptions, which are to investment company YouTube channels.
- The Rock The Boat Marketing Flickr photostream of what we consider the signs of investment companies adopting social media (for more on this, see our July 8, 2010, blog post). Note that you can subscribe to an RSS feed of this set of photos
- Finally, we are not power users of Facebook for business. But when we see investment managers on Facebook, we make the page a Rock The Boat Marketing Facebook favorite and we use the AdvisorTweets Facebook favorites page to keep track of Facebook-using financial advisors we follow on Twitter.
